Austin Ryan Hunt is a Chicago performer/director and proud member of The Osage Nation. He was a Trustee Scholar at Lipscomb University, where he earned degrees in Acting and Directing and a proud graduate of the School at Steppenwolf. Performance credits include King James (Steppenwolf Theatre Company), Fiddler on the Roof (Lyric Opera of Chicago), and more. In 2023 Austin founded Uncommon Plant Guy, drawing on an Indigenous relationship to plants and the natural world to bring hands-on nature-based workshops to Chicago and beyond.
