Victor is thrilled to join TUTA as an Artistic Associate! Rarely a performer himself, Victor can usually be found behind the scenes as a partner with R&D Choreography, a Chicago based violence design company. R&D Choreography was founded in 1997 by Richard Gilbert and David Bareford, and has designed violence for nearly 300 stage productions in and around the city of Chicago. As a partner with R&D, Victor uses violence and movement to create illusions and tell stories onstage. His work has been featured in productions at dozens of Chicago area theaters, including Akvavit, Chimera Ensemble, Goodman, Lifeline, Metropolis, Oak Park Festival Theater, Oil Lamp, Paramount, Pegasus, Piven, Steep, Strawdog, and Theo Ubique

TUTA acknowledges support from the Illinois Arts Council Agency, The Light A City Fund, The Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation, and The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation.
