SCENE STUDY WORKOUT
Taught by TUTA Co-Artistic Director Jacqueline Stone
WHEN
These classes are offered on a rotating basis throughout the year. Check back soon for our next session!
WHERE
TUTA (4670 N. Manor Ave) just off the Francisco Brown Line stop.
WHAT
This workshop is perfect for performers of any skill level and a great entry point for actors who are curious to work in a new way.
Artistic Director Jacqueline Stone will guide you through TUTA’s unique physical approach to acting by exploring the power of your own body on stage. Using short scenes from Modern female playwrights, you will learn tools to enhance your patience, rhythm, responsiveness, and trust on stage. Examples of texts include Baker, Rebeck, Fo, and Churchill. Each student will be given the chance to dive into warm ups, exercises and one scene, no memorization needed.
SAFETY
This class will take place in person, and follow the recommended CDC guidelines. Masks are not required, but can be worn if any student would like to.
